West Bank (The Inside Palestine) – Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained early Thursday and overnight 45 Palestinian citizens in a large-scale detention campaign across the occupied West Bank cities, towns and villages.
In Ramallah, the IOF detained 10 Palestinian citizens, including six from the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah, namely the ex-detainee Bassam Hammad, Farid al-Najjar, Qassim Riad, Lou’ay Fares, Abdel Rahman Habash and Mohammed Habash.
The IOF also detained 9 Palestinians from Yatta, south of Hebron, including Member of Parliament Khalil Rab’ie who was later released, as well as Nasser Rab’ie, Fadil al-Jabarin, Jebra’eel al-Omur, Fadi al-Omur, his brother Mohammed al-Omur, Samer al-Dababseh, Yahya Abu Sabha, and Zakaria Abu Fanar.
Moreover, Salem Qatash, from Yabrud, and Ra’ed Hamed, from Beitin, were detained by the IOF in eastern Ramallah, while in western Ramallah, the IOF detained ex-detainees Abdel Rahman al-Rimawi and Wissam al-Asmar, as well as Hamza al-Rawashdeh from the town of al-Smou’, south of Hebron.
In the town of Azzoun, east of Qalqilya, the IOF detained eight Palestinians, namely Mohammed Jum’a, Salim Radwan, Mo’az Radwan, Salah Sweidan, Adel Dahbour, Mohammed Radwan, Mahmoud Salameh and Mustafa Enaya.
In the same context, five Palestinian citizens were detained in Bethlehem, including ex-detainee Mohammed Abu Akar and Oday Hamash, both from Dheisheh camp, while Omar Azya, Farouk Bedeir and Laith Abu Akar were detained in Aida camp.
In the town of Jaba’, south of Jenin, the IOF detained five Palestinians, including four brothers.
