Several Palestinian young men arrested by IOF in Jerusalem

Occupied Jerusalem (The Inside Palestine)_ The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested on Saturday evening and at dawn Sunday several Palestinians in Jerusalem and the West Bank.

In Occupied Jerusalem, the occupation police arrested Khaled Alyan from Jabal Al-Mukaber town after attacking him in the Bab al-Amud area.

The occupation police attacked Palestinian gatherings in Bab al-Amud which led to the injury of five citizens.

The Israeli police also attacked young people who were camping inside the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem, one day before the end of the deadline set to expel families from their homes.

In al-Khalil, local sources reported the IOF arrest of a young man after beating him near the Ibrahimi Mosque.

In Qalqilya, several civilians suffered breathing problems in Kafr Qaddum town, east of Qalqilya, after the occupation soldiers threw tear gas canisters into their houses.

On Saturday evening, young men targeted the house of the occupation’s deputy mayor in Jerusalem with Molotov cocktails.

Eyewitnesses reported that the people gathered in a mass rally against the settlement and displacement of seven Jerusalemite families in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.

The marchers held banners calling on the world community to intervene to stop the forced deportation of the residents of Sheikh Jarrah.

The Israeli police violently quelled the march, arrested four Jerusalemites and blocked the path of the march.
