Israeli settlers’ storming counites under protection of occupation forces

Jerusalem (The Inside Palestine)- Israeli occupation forces on Monday morning raided the al-Aqsa Mosque Compound to provide cover for the collective Israeli settlers’ storming of the mosque.

Jerusalemite sources reported that the Israeli forces broke into al-Aqsa Mosque in large groups, and tried to empty its courtyards of Palestinian worshipers in preparation to make room for the provocative settlers’ stormings.

the Israeli forces besieged the worshipers inside the Qibli prayer hall in al-Aqsa Mosque, deployed snipers on the mosque’s multiple buildings and also on the adjacent buildings, the sources pointed out.

In addition, the Israeli forces attacked Palestinian women in the courtyards of the mosque as well as detained two worshipers near the Dome of the Rock.

The sources indicated that the Israeli forces prevented Palestinian youths aged less than 45 years from entering the al-Aqsa Mosque, adding that the forces also closed the surroundings of al-Wad Street in the Old city at the time of the storming.

Coinciding with Passover, Israeli settlers have spread throughout the courtyards of the al-Aqsa Mosque in large groups, performed Talmudic rituals and carried out provocative tours.

On Sunday, Israeli occupation forces injured at least 19 Palestinian worshipers and detained 18 others during their assault on worshipers in al-Aqsa Mosque Compound.
