Israeli occupation storms several areas in West Bank and Jerusalem

Occupied Jerusalem (The Inside Palestine)_ Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed on Friday night and at dawn Saturday several areas in the West Bank and Jerusalem and clashes broke out in some areas.

In Nablus, IOF stormed the eastern region and stationed in the vicinity of Balata and Askar refugee camps and Amman street.

IOF arrested two young men while they were near Beit Furik checkpoint. Local sources pointed out that IOF took them to Hawara refugee camp near the checkpoint.

Meanwhile, the IOF soldiers set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Madama and stopped Palestinian vehicles and checked their ID cards.

In Ramallah, the IOF patrols raided the towns of Bir Zeit and Abu Shkheidem, amid deployment of soldiers and sweeping operations in the area.

In Occupied Jerusalem, clashes erupted in Al-Khillah area of Al-Tur town (Mount of Olives). The Israeli police fired tear gas canisters and dozens of Palestinians, including children and the elderly, suffered breathing problems.

There are more than 700 military checkpoints in the West Bank, fixed and temporary, that impede the movement of citizens.
