Israeli occupation forces attack, injure over 60 Palestinians taking part in anti-occupation protests in Nablus

Nablus (The Inside Palestine)- Israeli forces injured at least 65 Palestinian protesters in Beita and Beit Dajan villages in Nablus while participating in the weekly anti-occupation protests on Friday.

The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed the IOF injured nearly 65 Palestinians taking part in the peaceful protests against Israel’s occupation in Beita and Beit Dajan villages today, among them 13 people shot with Israel’s metal bullets.

The forces attacked the protesters by intensively firing rubber-coated metal bullets, sound bombs, live ammunition and tear gas canisters disperse them.

It was also reported that a Palestinian child identified as Ameer Khdeir was hospitalized after being run over by an Israeli settler outside the village of Beita.

Beit Dajan and Beita villages have been the site of weekly protests against the Israeli occupation and settlement expansion.

However, although the protests have been peaceful, Israeli forces have suppressed, detained, and assaulted the protesters.

This has resulted in injuring hundreds and killing others.
