Israeli occupation fires towards Palestinian fishermen, farmers, sheepherders across Gaza borders

Gaza (The Inside Palestine)- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire early Wednesday towards Palestinian agricultural lands in the northern and southern Gaza Strip, without any reported injuries.

According to local sources, the IOF opened fire towards agricultural lands in the Na’aima area east of the town of Beit Hanoun, as they also opened fire towards another nearby area.

The sources added that the IOF also opened fire from a military tower towards a number of Palestinian fishermen’s boats off the shores of the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Lahya, forcing the fishermen to withdraw from the area.

Moreover, Israeli gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishermen’s boats off al-Waha shore, northwest of Gaza City.

In the same context, local sources reported Israeli shootings towards Palestinian sheepherders east of Khuza’a town, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Border areas in the besieged Gaza Strip are subjected to Israeli attacks almost on daily basis, deliberately targeting fishing boats and agricultural lands, damaging crops and forcing Palestinians, especially farmers and fishermen, to leave such areas for their safety.
