Israeli occupation court sentences two Palestinian detainees from West bank

Nablus, (The Inside Palestine)- Israeli occupation court has sentenced Palestinian detainee Karam Bani Shamsah, a resident of Nablus’s town of Beita, for 42 months and fined him with NIS 15,000.

Asra Media Office reported that Israeli forces detained Bani Shamsa on June 2, 2020 after raiding and ransacking his house in the town of Beita, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus.

The office added that detainee Bani Shamsa has been indicted by Israeli intelligence for being affiliated with a prohibited organization and scheming to carry out resistance acts against the occupation state.

In the same context, the Israeli occupation court has issued a prison sentence for 12 months and a fine against detainee Mohammed Fuqaha, a resident of the city of Talkarem.

Israeli forces detained Fuqaha on October 22, 2021 after raiding on family house and took him for interrogation at al-Jalama detention center before moving him to al-Damoun prison.

According to Palestinian figures, about 4,850 Palestinians, including 34 women and 160 children, are currently languishing in Israeli detention jails.
