Nablus (The Inside Palestine) – The Israeli occupation court of Salem has issued a prison sentence for 14 months and a fine estimated at $500 against Palestinian detainee Mohammed Fathi Ayed, a resident of the city of Nablus.

Asra Media Office reported that the Israeli forces detained youth Ayed on August 12, 2021 after raiding on his house in Beita and took him for interrogation at Betah Tekfa military center.

The office pointed out that the Salem court adjourned the trial of Ayed several times before sentencing him to 14 months in prison.

In the same context, the Israeli forces released on Wednesday Palestinian detainees Abdul Rahim al-Kar and Mohammed al-Kar, residents of the town of Beit Fajjar in Bethlehem, after serving 17-months prison sentences.
