Colonial Israeli settlers establish road, demolish farmland in Nablus

Nablus ( The Inside Palestine)- Fanatic Israeli settlers on Monday built a settler-colonial road and bulldozed chunks of farmland in the occupied West Bank village of Qaryout south of Nablus.

Anti-settlement activist Bashar Qaryouti said that Israeli settlers constructed a new settler-colonial road connecting the illegal settlement of “Eli” in the west of the village with the illegal settlement of “Shilo” in the south.

Israeli settlers also razed nearly 40 dunums of Palestinian farmland, including ten dunums planted with olive seedlings, in the southern area of the village.

Qaryouti pointed out that Israeli settlers are planning to set up mobile homes in the area as a prelude to establishing a new illegal outpost.

Last year, local residents had managed to remove an illegal settler outpost in the same area of the village, which is encircled by three illegal settlements and four settler outposts.

Qaryouti called on human rights groups and international organisations to visit the village to monitor the attacks carried out by Israeli settlers and the Israeli occupation authorities against the village.
