Israeli occupation forces tear-gass Palestinian workers in Jenin

A number of Palestinian workers on Sunday morning choked on tear gas when Israeli occupation forces (IOF) attacked them near Barta’a town in the West Bank district of Jenin.

Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center’s reporter that the IOF heavily fired tear gas canisters at dozens of Palestinian workmen near the separation wall.

The workers were standing at several gates in the separation wall, getting ready to enter the Palestinian territories occupied since 1948 where they work, the same sources added.

Because of the lack of job opportunities in the occupied West Bank, many Palestinians seek work in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1948, and since the Israeli occupation authorities usually refuse to issue them work permits, they sneak through holes and gates they dig in the separation wall.
