Israeli occupation forces kidnap Palestinian young man at checkpoint in eastern Hebron

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday morning kidnaped a Palestinian young man at a military checkpoint near Beit Einun town, east of al-Khalil.

According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped a young man identified as Issa Haroush, a resident of Yatta town, at a makeshift checkpoint near the junction of Beit Einun.

Meanwhile, the IOF set up several makeshift checkpoints at the northern and southern entrances to al-Khalil city and at the main entrances to the towns of Idhna, Sa’ir and Halhul.

The IOF intercepted and searched Palestinian vehicles and checked the IDs of passengers at these checkpoints.

In Jerusalem, the IOF on Friday shuttered the Container checkpoint in al-Sawahira town, east of Jerusalem, causing a heavy build-up of traffic in both directions.
