Israeli occupation navy kidnaps 4 Palestinian fishermen in Gaza waters

Israeli occupation navy on Thursday evening arrested four Palestinian fishermen in Gaza waters.

Head of the Palestinian Fishermen Union in Gaza Nizar Ayyash told Quds Press that Israeli gunboats surrounded two Palestinian fishing boats off the shore of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, and detained the fishermen on board.

Ayyash confirmed that the four detainees were sailing and working within the 15-nautical-mile area permitted by the Israeli authorities.

Israeli violations against Gaza fishermen are a daily occurrence where fishermen get arrested, injured or killed, and sometimes have their boats and only source of livelihood confiscated by Israeli naval forces.
