A Palestinian young man with special needs was shot and killed by IOF

Palestine, Saturday, May 30, 2010.( The inside Palestine)- Israeli occupation forces shot and killed a Palestinian man with special needs, early today. The man was identified as, Iyad Khairi Hallak, 32, from Wad el-Joz neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem.

Israeli police opened fire at the Palestinian because they suspected he had a gun. Later Israeli reports confirmed that the man was unarmed but claimed that he was shot after he refused orders to stop.

“Following the incident, the police closed off the Old City. The Police Internal Investigations Department will be in charge of investigating the circumstances leading to the incident. They will examine whether the officers involved acted according to the rules of engagement and have already started gathering Security camera footage.”

It should be noted that this is the second execution within 24 hours, as the occupation forces on Friday killed Fadi Adnan Qa’da (37 years old), from the village of Abu Qash, Ramallah District.
