Members of V Palestine team have urged the experimental Japanese band Boris to cancel their show in Tel Aviv, December 22nd.
The band has posted on Facebook and Instagram that, “Thank you so much Tel Aviv. Cheers.” Then, more than 50 artists have signed a letter to Boris in which they call Boris to cancel their show, saying:
“Until Israel ends its policy to segregate and oppress the Palestinian people, please don’t play in apartheid Tel Aviv. The Israeli government has an overt policy of exploiting performances by international artists, to cover up its military occupation and apartheid. Palestinian civil society has called on international artists to refuse to play in apartheid Israel. Please heed their call.”
