Israeli occupation court extends detention of Palestinian Prisoner Mona Qa’dan

Occupied West Bank( The Inside Palestine)- Muhjat al-Quds Foundation confirmed on Monday that the Israeli court extended the arrest of the prisoner, Mona Qa’dan, 50, from the town of Araba in the Jenin governorate in the northern West Bank, to Thursday, under the pretext of completing the investigation with her.

The prisoner, Mona Qa’dan, reported that the investigation with her began last Wednesday and it continues to this day and revolves around activities based on false and unfounded allegations, and for her part, there is nothing they claim to be right.

She added in a letter that her spirits are high despite her being bugged, and she is still being held in the Jalameh investigation center, and there is nothing clear, but the interrogators are threatening to transfer her to administrative detention.

Mona was arrested on April 12, 2021, from her home. She is the sister of the leader of the Islamic Jihad, the ex-prisoner, Tariq Qa’dan. Also, She had several previous arrests in the Israeli prisons on the grounds of her affiliation and activities with the Islamic Jihad Movement, where she spent about seven years in captivity. Besides, Mona is considered one of the most prominent women leaders of the Islamic Jihad movement in the West Bank.
