Occupied Palestine(The inside Palestine)- Israeli police arrested on Thursday evening and at dawn Friday 8 Palestinians from the Al-Aqsa Mosque after they stormed the Al-Qibli prayer hall and the Mosque’s courtyards in an attempt to expel the Muslim worshipers from it.
Jerusalemite sources reported that clashes erupted with the occupation police in several Jerusalem neighborhoods, specifically in the old checkpoints of Jerusalem.
Confrontations resumed near the Damascus Gate for the third day and the Israeli police fired sound bombs at the young men.
Special units of the occupation army known as “Mistaravim” kidnapped a young man from the al-Amoud Gate area, according to eyewitnesses.
The occupation police also assaulted the youths near the al-Sahira Gate, beat them and forced them to leave.
On Friday morning, eyewitness reported that the Israeli police arrested a girl at Qalandia military checkpoint, north of Occupied Jerusalem.
On Thursday, a spokesman of the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) said in a statement that the Israeli army had arrested a Palestinian youth who infiltrated the border fence from the southern Gaza Strip into the 1948 occupied lands.
He explained that the young man was not in possession of any weapons and was interrogated in the area.
