Morocco signs strategic partnership agreement with the Israeli occupation

Morocco(The inside Palestine)- Morocco has signed a strategic partnership agreement between Moroccan and Israeli businessmen working in the private sector, with the aim of “strengthening economic and commercial relations.”

According to what was reported by the Moroccan News Agency, on its website, the agreement was signed on the Moroccan side, Chakib Laalj, President of the General Federation of Moroccan Enterprises (businessmen), and on the Israeli occupation side by the head of the employers’ Authority, Ron Tomer, and the President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce Yorrell Lin.

According to the source, the partnership between the two countries aims to “establish an open and lasting dialogue between the General Federation of Moroccan Enterprises and the Israeli Authority of Employers, to create a kind of harmony between the concerned business communities active in the main sectors.”

Laalj said that the agreement constitutes a new step towards a strong, lasting partnership capable of achieving synergy between Moroccan and Israeli companies.

Thus, Morocco became the fourth Arab country to agree to normalization with the Israeli occupation, during 2020, after the UAE, Bahrain, and Sudan, while Egypt is linked to a peace agreement signed in 1979, as well as Jordan by an agreement signed in 1994.
