Israeli occupation detains Palestinian farmers in Salfit

Occupied West Bank (The Inside Palestine)- Two Palestinian children suffered bullet injuries on Monday night when Israeli soldiers opened fire at them near al-Jalazon refugee camp, north of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.

According to Jalazon Social Media Center, Israeli forces fired live ammunition at two local kids during their presence in al-Yasamin suburb near al-Jalazon camp and the illegal settlement of Beit El.

Israel’s Channel 12 claimed that soldiers opened fire and injured two young men after they threw Molotov cocktails towards Beit El.

In a separate incident, Israeli forces detained a number of Palestinian farmers for about three hours on the same day after they finished working their swaths of land which are isolated from Salfit city by a separation wall and gates.

Local sources said that the Israeli occupation army was supposed to open a gate in the wall at four o’clock in the evening, but its forces deliberately detained them for about three hours before opening the gate at seven o’clock.

On Sunday, the Israeli army prevented the farmers in Salfit from reaching their lands and refused to open any gate in the wall.
