Groups of Israeli settlers attack farmers in eastern Bethlehem

Bethlehem (The inside Palestine)- Groups of Israeli settlers attacked farmers in the village of Kisan in eastern Bethlehem and forced them to leave their land, while another group chopped off 15 solid olive trees in the village of Asioun today, reported WAFA.

WAFA quoted the deputy-chief of Kisan, Ahmad Ghazal, as saying that settlers, protected by the Israeli army, attacked farmers while they were working in the land of Ayyub Obayyat.

The soldiers and settlers threw tear gas and sound grenades and pointed their guns at the farmers, forcing them to leave.

In Asioun, a group of settlers chopped off 15 old olive trees owned by Jamal Ismail.
