Occupied West Bank (The Inside Palestine)_ Palestinian prisoner Jibril Zubeidi, 34, from Jenin camp in the northern West Bank, continues his open-ended hunger strike for the twenty-second day in a row, rejecting his arbitrary administrative detention.
A few days ago, participants in a stand in front of the Red Cross handed the delegate of the Red Cross a protest note against the ongoing arbitrary practices against the Palestinian prisoners and demanded the release of the prisoner Al-Zubeidi, who was previously detained for 12 years.
“The prisoner, Gabriel Zubeidi, is in solitary confinement in Section No. 10 of Megiddo Prison. He was detained in 25 February 2020 10 months on a charge of incitement via Facebook and he was sentenced to 10 months imprisonment and a fine of 2000 Israeli Shekels. He was scheduled to be released on the 17th of last month, but he was surprised that an administrative arrest warrant was brought for him for a period of 6 months on the day of his release,” yesterday, the head of the Palestinian Prisoners and Editors Affairs Authority, Qadri Abu Bakr, said.
