The Israeli occupation army at dawn Wednesday launched several aerial attacks on the Gaza Strip, with no reported casualties.
According to local sources, warplanes launched four airstrikes on an abandoned civilian house in the southwest of Deir al-Balah City in central Gaza.
Over seven air-to-surface missiles also targeted a resistance post in the east of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.
The attacks caused extensive material damage to the bombed sites, but medical sources did not say if there were casualties.
The Israeli army said the air raids were in response to the firming of rockets from Gaza.
At least two rockets were shot at Ashdod and nearby Ashkelon. Both were intercepted by the Iron Dome anti-missile batteries, a spokesperson for the army claimed.
