Amid calls to release him, ‘Israel’ renews detention of the international aid worker

Jerusalem (The Inside Palestine)- An Israeli occupation court on Monday extended the detention of Palestinian aid worker Mohammed el-Halabi for 90 days.

According to the Palestinian Prisoners Club, a new court hearing will be held soon for el-Halabi, which would be the 170th court session that he attends since he was detained in 2016.

Israeli occupation forces detained el-Halabi, the head of the US-based charity World Vision’s Gaza office, on 15 June 2016. Since then, he has been subjected to harsh physical and psychological torture lasting for 52 days.
