Palestine, Friday, March 20, 2020 (The inside Palestine) – After the Israeli Prison Services decided to stop supplying 140 products, including cleaning products, from the canteen and halt medical visits for Palestinian detainees, a group of social media activists launched a solidarity campaign condemns the repressive measures taken by “Israel” against Palestinian detainees.
The Israeli prison service has conditioned prisoners’ visits to the prisons’ clinics with the suffering of high fever, preventing and cancelling all other medical check-ups, including necessary medical visits of injured and sick prisoners.
This violence and deliberate medical negligence against Palestinian detainees prompted group of Palestinian and Pro-Palestine activists to participate in the hashtag ” SavePalestinePrisoners” in order to call on international community to intervene to protect the Palestinian detainees from Coronavirus by taking preventive measures recommended by WHO.
Many activists from around the world participated in this hashtag to express their sympathy, and to put pressure on the Israeli prison administration to follow the necessary safety and protection measures to keep the Palestinian detainees safe.

"Israel" uses the #coronavirus as a pretext to continue with its abusive measures against prisoners such as banning Palestinian detainees from communicating with their families via telephone. #SavePalestinePrisoners pic.twitter.com/rI0Zhqj9lP
