Israeli settlers set fire to a classroom in a Palestinian school in Einabus village

Tag Meir, an Israeli organisation, said that the Israeli settlers of Price Tag group torched 46 mosques and 12 churches during the last decade.

Israeli occupation settlers set fire on Tuesday night to classroom in Palestinian school in the village of Einabus, south of occupied West Bank city of Nablus.

A group of settlers sneaked their way to the village, where they smashed one of the windows of the local boys primary school, and hurled inflammable materials, setting the classroom on fire.

They also spray-painted in Hebrew anti-Palestinian graffiti. The graffiti reads: “Death to Arabs.. We will kill you.. We will force you out of this village.”

The settlers came from the illegal colonial settlement of Yitzhar, which is inhabited by hardcore fanatic Jews.

Many Palestinian activists and rights groups have repeatedly blamed Israel for fostering a “culture of impunity” for Jewish settlers committing violent acts against Palestinians.

Settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.

Settlers’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Tag Meir, an Israeli organisation, said on Monday that the Israeli settlers of Price Tag group torched 46 mosques and 12 churches during the last decade.
