At least 305 Palestinians wounded during Israeli attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque

Occupied Jerusalem (The Inside Palestine)_At least 305 people have been wounded during the Israeli police attack on the Aqsa Mosque compound and surrounding areas in occupied east Jerusalem’s Old City, the Palestinian Red Crescent said on Monday.

About 228 have been transferred to three hospitals in Jerusalem, and seven are in critical conditions.

According to the Hebrew army radio, 21 Israeli police officers were wounded during clashes with Palestinian youths in different areas of Jerusalem and inside the Aqsa compound.

Following hours of frantic police violence, Israeli forces withdrew from the Aqsa Mosque, which allowed more Palestinians to enter and others to leave, amid sporadic skirmishes at entrances leading to the Islamic holy site.

Soon later, many Palestinians have embarked on cleaning up the mess that was caused by police forces across the Mosque.
