Two Palestinian shepherds arrested in the village of Kisan

West Bank (The Inside Palestine)- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained on Friday two Palestinian shepherds for several hours in the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem.

Nabil Abayat, an activist, reported that IOF detained the two shepherds Mustafa Abayat, 45, and Musab Abayat, 20, while they were near Maali Amos settlement, under the pretext of approaching a military area.

Abayat added that they were taken to the Gush Etzion settlement compound and held for a long time before they were released.

The IOF soldiers have recently escalated their attacks against shepherds, including unleashing dogs on them and their sheep.

In a separate development, Jewish settlers prevented several farmers from reaching their agricultural lands near Bidya town in Salfit, in the northern West Bank.

Local sources reported that settlers expelled Palestinian farmers in Bidya town while trying to access their lands in Khirbet Hassan on the outskirts of the village and forced them to leave the area.
