IOF opens fire at farmers and shepherds near Gaza border

Gaza (The Inside Palestine)- The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Monday attacked Palestinian farmers and shepherds in the east of Gaza City and Khan Yunis.

According to local sources, the IOF fired live ammunition and smoke grenades at a group of farmers as they were working their swaths of land in the eastern agricultural area of az-Zeitoun neighborhood (Gaza City).

Luckily, no one was hurt in the shooting attack, but the farmers had to leave the area and go home.

Meanwhile, the IOF opened machinegun fire, with no reason, at swaths of cultivated land belonging to farmers in the east of Khan Yunis.

They also opened fire at shepherds in the east of al-Qarara area in the north of Khan Yunis and forced them to leave the area.
