Violent clashes with Israeli occupation in West Bank

West Bank (The Inside Palestine)- Violent clashes broke out on Wednesday evening between dozens of Palestinian young men and Israeli soldiers in Beit Ummar town, north of al-Khalil in the occupied West Bank.

According to local sources, local youths clashed with Israeli soldiers in Asida area of the town in protest at the killing of Ahed Akhlil, a young man from the same town, by Israeli soldiers on Tuesday afternoon.

During the events, angry local youths hurled stones, Molotov cocktails and empty bottles at the soldiers, who intensively fired live and rubber bullets and tear gas canisters.
