Occupied Jerusalem (The Inside Palestine)_ The Israeli occupation police on Sunday arrested Jerusalemite activist Hanadi Halawani at the Aqsa Mosque’s Asbat Gate and took her in for interrogation.
According to Halawani, she was detained and questioned for wearing a jacket with writings on it about the Aqsa Mosque.
She said that she slammed the Israeli police for arresting and questioning her for wearing a jacket and refused to sign papers ordering her banishment from the Aqsa Mosque and the Old City.
The activist accused the Israeli police of trying to find a reason in order to ban her entry to the Aqsa Mosque once again.
“When they knew they had no charge to level against me at the court, they released me,” she said.
This was the third time the Israeli police detained and interrogated Halawani during the current month.
About a month ago, Halawani completed an arbitrary Israeli verdict ordering her to stay away from the Aqsa Mosque for 14 months.
