Occupied Jerusalem (The Inside Palestine)_ Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian homes in Adeesa village to the east of al-Khalil after midnight Saturday, local sources reported.
They added that groups of Jewish settlers converged on the village after midnight and threatened residents after insulting them. The locals said that the settlers threatened to kill the residents and burn their homes.
Meanwhile. Israeli occupation forces (IOF) set up a number of roadblocks at the entrances to a number of hamlets in southern al-Khalil and at the outskirts of Halhul town in northern al-Khalil on Sunday morning.
The road barriers caused traffic jams as IOF soldiers checked IDs of passing citizens and searched their vehicles.
A number of settlers had last night assaulted a Palestinian journalist in Tal Rumeida in al-Khalil city, according to a local source.
The source said that the settlers beat up the 28-year-old journalist Muhanad Qufaisha injuring him in his head, adding that IOF soldiers protected the settlers during the assault when Qufaisha tried to defend himself.
