Israeli occupation uproots dozens of olive trees in Salfit

Occupied Jerusalem (The Inside Palestine)_ A horde of extremist Jewish settlers has wreaked havoc on an olive grove in al-Wadat area in Bruqin town, west of Salfit in the occupied West Bank.

According to local sources, settlers from the illegal settlement of Bruchin — built on lands annexed from the towns of Bruqin and Kafr ad-Dik in western Salfit — had embarked since yesterday on uprooting and destroying dozens of olive trees in a grove belonging to a local resident called Yousef Sabrah.

This agricultural area of the town has been exposed to repeated attacks and violations by settlers and soldiers because of its presence near the illegal settlement.

Incidents of terrorism and violence by extremist Jewish settlers against Palestinians and their property are a daily occurrence throughout the West Bank.
