‘Israel’ threatens to demolish 2 inhabited homes in the occupied West Bank

The Israeli occupation army on Sunday threatened to demolish two inhabited homes and ordered a halt to construction activities in different areas of the West Bank.

According to local sources in Bethlehem, the Israeli army notified citizens in al-Maniya village of its intent to demolish two homes belonging to them at the pretext of unlicensed construction.

The homes belong to two brothers from the family of al-Farroukh.

The Israeli army had issued many demolition and stop-work orders before against homes and structures in the village.

In al-Khalil, the Israeli army delivered stop-work orders against one house under construction and new power lines in Ghaziwa area of Masafer Yatta (a cluster of Palestinian hamlets).

As part of its widespread demolition campaign in the West Bank, the Israeli army a few days ago demolished homes, structures, and water networks that feed several hamlets in Masafer Yatta.
