Israeli occupation forces set up road obstacle near W.Bank town of Ya’bad

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday morning set up a military roadblock at the junction of Ya’bad town, southwest of Jenin.

According to local sources, the IOF set up a checkpoint on the road leading to Ya’bad town and Tulkarem city and embarked on intercepting and searching vehicles and checking IDs of passengers.

The roadblock caused a heavy build-up of traffic on the road, especially as citizens were en route to workplaces and schools.

Across the West Bank, there are hundreds of permanent and makeshift Israeli checkpoints, which are used to obstruct the movement of Palestinian citizens and vehicles and carry out arrests.
